Double Flap Fun Fold Card Tutorial
For this card, you will need two A2 side folding card bases (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches scored at 4 1/4 inches). Yes - that's TWO cards to make one double flap card. You'll see why in a moment.
Place both cards on your work surface with the openings facing each other. Cut off the top half of one card and the bottom half of the other (the pieces removed will measure 2 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches).
Next, adhere the back panels of the cards together using a strong adhesive, laying one directly on top of the other.
Cut a double sided patterned paper to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch piece, then cut in half (at 2 3/4 inches). Flip over to show the other side, so you have two different patterns.
The base of your card is now constructed. All that is left is decorating the front of the card. I chose a circle for my focal point shape, but you could use any shape or embellishment (think snowflake, heart, balloon, chunky sentiment).
Be sure to only adhere the top (or bottom) of your focal embellishment to either the top (or the bottom) flap.
I decided to put a solid white circle (the same size as my front circle) behind the main embellishment to give the inside of the card a more finished look. This is optional, but it does make for a more polished card.
Finish off your card by adding cardstock die cuts and a stamped sentiment to the front. You can adapt this fun fold card tutorial to any occasion or season just by changing out the patterned papers and the die cut embellishments.

This is the perfect base card for a farm/cow card I want to make. Thanks.
Love the double gate card. I was wondering if I can use the cards you highlight in your to make and sell on Etsy?
Thanks
