Need a lot of cards in a hurry? You will be amazed at how many cards you can make from one 6 x 6 paper pad.  Choose a pad that has a mix of patterned paper and cut-apart card pages, like Echo Park Paper's My Favorite Fall 6 x 6 paper pad and go with easy card designs to make a whole pile of cards in an afternoon.

The Echo Park 6x6 pads have gorgeous double sided papers along with cut-apart cards that can immediately become the focal points of your cards.

Start by cutting out each of the smaller cut-apart cards.  Then start designing! You can simply go on Pinterest and search "card layouts".  There's a ton, some even with measurements!  Choose a layout and then make as many cards as you can using only that layout.  Because you are choosing different focal points and papers, all the cards will look different, even while using the same layout.  Plus, it allows you to make a lot of cards without having to design a different layout for each card.

For my cards I decided to come up with a few different variations and I've done all the work measuring for you, so you can just cut your pieces and start designing.

Larger cut-apart card measurements (larger rectangle)

card front: 4 x 5 1/4 inches

strip: 3/4 x 4 inches

panel: 1 7/8 x 4 inches

Smaller cut apart rectangle card

card front: 4 x 5 1/4 inches

strip: 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches

patterned/solid piece: 2 x 4 inches

Square cut-apart card

card front: 4 x 5 1/4 inches

patterned square (which is the back side of some of the cut-apart cards that I decided not to use) : 2 x 2 inches

panel: 3 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches

Remember...the papers are double sided, so if you don't like one side, flip it over.

I made 34 cards and STILL had lots of extra paper left over!

Bonus Card Design

Strips: 3/4 x 4 inches (as many or as little strips as you’d like!)  Here I used 4 patterned and one solid, stamped with a sentiment.

Hope you enjoyed this easy card designs project!
