Card Making: Stencils and Stamping Ink on Colored Cardstock

Wed, Jan 29, 20 . Jennifer Gallacher

One of the easiest ways to add color to your card making is to start with colored cardstock. Ready to take your card making to the next level? Then try using stencils and stamping ink on colored cardstock. Here's a look at how one card background got this special treatment.

Stencils come in a variety of styles, sizes, and patterns. Start with basic shapes like circles, triangles, florals, etc. Then expand your collection from there. For the most versatile ink color, use a clear Versamark Stamping Ink Pad. This ink pad goes on clear and colors the stamped image to a darker color than the cardstock. That way you only have to purchase one ink pad to get LOTS of different colors.
