DIY Bridal Shower Party Favor Box

Ooh la la! Post party hangovers may last a day, but memories last forever! Create these adorable gable boxes as DIY bridal shower party favors and fill them with treats or a take home spa in a box. These would also make adorable little Galentines gift boxes filled with chocolate.

Supplies:

I purchased the gable box template from Etsy, but there are similar boxes in both the Cricut and Silhouette Design Stores. These gable favor boxes are sized at 4.4 x 2.5 x 3 inches – just the perfect size! (Remember, you can always modify the size to create a bigger box.) I chose to embellish the boxes with a cute little saying and a corset, but you can select whichever embellishment you’d like to go with the theme of your event.

Once all the pieces have been cut, it is time to start assembling. I like to start with the small pieces first so I don't loose them. I use Bearly Arts Precision Craft Glue for all my little pieces.

Once your decorative embellishment is assembled, it is time to begin assembling your gable box! I use a hot glue gun and glue for the box assembly – it’s quick to dry so you won’t have to hold your pieces together for long to make them stay put.

Before I apply my glue, I folded all the lines where there were scoring marks so that the tabs are easier to move around. Make sure to glue your little tabs on the sides on the inside of the box so that the outside looks seamless.

Once all of the sides have been glued together, your box should have two (2) open ends; the top where the handle is, and the bottom which we’re going to glue next.

Apply a little glue to each of the sides where the flaps will overlap.

Fold that last flap in (you can add glue if you like, but I didn’t here) to seal up your gable box.

Lastly, add your embellishment to the front of your box, and voila! You have a super cute custom DIY bridal shower favor box to spoil your guests with! You can personalize these with guests names too if you'd like.

I created a matching lingerie banner for the party as well. I love DIY party decor because you can match the decor and the favors exactly to tie it all together.
