Handmade Summer Card | Hippie Van Card
Hello 12 X 12 Cardstock Shop and Dreaming Tree Fans! Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility with another monthly collaboration!
What do you think of when you think of summer? I know I think of the 70’s ! Fun, freedom and hippies. Then again, that is when I was growing up (showing my age here). This brings me to my awesome project this month, the Hippie Bus Greeting Card with SVG files from Dreaming Tree.
I remember all the cool VW Bug Vans with different colors and motifs driving around. The more colors, the cooler it was, to me. That was what I was thinking when making my van here. I tried to take a mix of Dreaming Tree's bright suggestions and my own to make it feel more like mine.
This awesome van comes with five sentiments you can glue right in the front of the van to make it for any occasion. Then it opens up to a black piece of cardstock to stamp a greeting or just write a greeting of your own. I left mine blank so when I decide how to use the card, I know what to stamp or write.
I actually love this concept of creating a card and leaving the sentiment off. Many times I'm not quite sure what I'll use a card for as I'm creating it. Cut a bunch of sentiments to have on hand, but don't glue anything down until you know what you need.
