Pocket Fun Fold Halloween Card

Wed, Sep 14, 22 . Michelle Price

Kate here, with another easy fun fold card!  And this one is SUPER EASY (and can be adapted for any holiday).

Supplies:

Here goes...

Take your card base cardstock (orange cardtsock) and cut to 6 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches and score at 4 1/4 inches on the 6 1/2 side (you are making an A2 sized card).

Use some thin adhesive tape to attach the folded flap to the card along the edges only, forming the pocket.

Next, attach your patterned paper, cut to 2 1/8 x 5 1/4 to the flap. You may have to trim a sliver off either side to leave an even border of the orange cardstock showing on all sides.

The pocket insert, measuring 4 in x 5 inches is where you can stamp a sentiment and write your message. You can even use patterned paper for this!  (This may also need a sliver taken off on the sides to ensure the pocket card slides in and out of the pocket freely.)

All you need to do now is to add an embellishment to your pocket. You can use a diecut, stamped image, sticker or even a larger sentiment. You can center the embellishment or move it off to the side (like I did here).  I layered my ghost on a  diecut frame to give it some sturdiness. Sirio Ultra Black Cardstock is super sturdy and great for layers that need stability.

This is a great card to mass produce for the holidays.  You could even stick your family photo in the pocket!
