St. Patrick's Day Pot Of Gold Treat Box - Cricut Project

Thu, Mar 05, 26 . tara wilder

Jannet here, from Krafty Dekor! For this project I decided to make a cute St. Patrick's day pot of gold treat box using my Cricut project (Get the Design Space files here). I also used fun rainbow colors from the Encore Textured Cardstock collection. I love their bright colors and best of all, how smooth they cut with a cutting machine.

For this project I used a variety of rainbow cardstock colors:

Please Note: This file is available only in Designs Space. It uses elements from the Cricut Design Space library so it cannot be pulled out of that program.

First you will need to cut all pieces that will be assembled with your Cricut machine. Make sure you have all your pieces cut first. The pot consists of two "Cauldron" pieces for the front and back, and one scored piece to make the box.

Start  with the biggest part of the rainbow (red color) this will be your base.

Then go ahead and glue the rainbow pieces one by one using your favorite glue. Don't forget your cloud! I added foam tape to it to give some dimension but it is not necessary

Grab the scored square box and glue it together, it will look like this once its assembled.

Then add the two black cauldron pieces on each side and decorate the front of the cauldrons.

Attach the pot to the rainbow and its all done and ready to gift.

Add some chocolate coins or Rollos and voila! You have the perfect little St. Patrick's Day gift for your kiddos to wake up to. Or better yet, the treat at the end of the leprechaun scavenger hunt!

We hope you try this fun St. Patrick's Day paper craft gift to celebrate this holiday!
