Making Shaped Paper Flowers

Shaped paper flowers are created by layering cut-out paper flower petals, and bending and shaping the petals to give them a realistic look. The best paper for this type of flower is around 65#–85# paper. This is thin enough to be pliable and thick enough to hold its shape when molded.

Making Rolled Paper Flowers

Rolled paper flowers have the same requirements as shaped paper flowers in terms of needing paper that can be molded. Again, we recommend 65#–85# papers for these projects. Double-sided cardstock is best since both sides tend to show on a rolled paper flower.
