What is 12x12 Cardstock Shop Package Protection?

We're pleased to offer you enhanced shipping protection through our Package Protection program. At checkout you will have the option to secure your package with Package Protection. The option is automatically autofilled for you, but you may opt out if you would like.

What is 12x12 Cardstock Shop Package Protection? 

For a small fee,12x12 Cardstock Shop covers unforeseen shipping issues like lost or stolen packages, or damage along the way. We wrap your cardstock order up like it's the most precious package on the planet, but once it leaves our warehouse, issues can arise. With package protection we will replace or refund your order if it is not delivered correctly (see details below).

Package Protection fees start at $0.98 for orders under $50 and a small 1.99% for orders over $50.

If you opt out of Package Protection, you will need to work directly with your postal carrier (USPS, UPS) to file a claim. 

The following rules apply to Package Protection:

For Items Marked as Delivered (Stolen):

Submit a claim through 12x12 Cardstock Shop (support@12x12cardstock.shop) up to 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered. Typically we will ask you to wait at least 5 days after it is marked delivered to make sure it does not turn up. Please note, some order issues may require a police report to be filed.

Stuck In Transit (Lost):

For domestic orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 2 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 60 days from the order date. For international orders, claims will be reviewed no earlier than 20 calendar days and no later than 30 calendar days from the last update. The maximum filing time is 60 days from the order date. Lost claims can be started by contacting support@12x12cardstock.shop.

Damaged

Claims for damaged items require photos of the packaging and item(s) and must be filed no later than 15 calendar days from when it was marked delivered. Damage claims can be started by contacting support@12x12cardstock.shop.

What is NOT covered under shipping protection? 

-Customer enters an inaccurate/incorrect shipping address. Once a shipping label has been printed and the package has been shipped, 12x12 Cardstock Shop is not responsible for issues arising from an incorrect address. If a package is returned to us, it will be the customer's responsibility to pay to have it reshipped. 

-Customer delays picking up package from post office or fails to follow shipping carrier instructions. Again, if a package is returned to us because customer did not follow shipping carrier instructions, it will be the customer's responsibility to pay to have it reshipped.
