Design Team Member Brenna here with an Easter Bunny Paper Treat Box tutorial! You’ll love this fun bunny box that’s perfect for Easter decorations or to gift that bunny-special person in your life! I think I’ll add a little bit of Easter grass to mine and treats to take to neighbors, but the options are endless! The easy open tab makes it usable again and again. Let’s dive into how I made it, so you can make one too!

Supplies
For this cute paper bunny box, you don’t need that much stuff! Of course, I always keep a supply of 12x12 Cardstock on hand to whip up a project on a moment’s notice.
Supplies:
-
SVG bunny file I designed (get it FREE here)
-
4 Sheets of 12x12 Textured Cardstock in Lilac Lace, Spring Crocus, Mardi Gras Purple, & Glacier Melt - I love these textured cardstock papers! You can choose any color palette that you like, but I loved these magnificent purples.
-
Glue (You can use any glue you like, but I love this Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue)
-
Electronic cutting tool (or the patience to cut this out by hand!)
And that’s it! Once you’ve gathered your supplies, it’s time to get to work on assembling your paper bunny box. Trust me, it’s easier than you think. You’ll have the cutest paper bunny box in no time.
How to Make Your Paper Bunny Box
The steps to making this fun, paper bunny box are super simple. In four easy steps, you’ll have a cute paper bunny box to use as decor. This bunny box also would make a great box to wrap a gift in. In the comments below, let me know how you’d use this bunny box!
1. Cut out your bunny box: Gather your favorite paper colors, and snag this FREE file. Using your favorite electronic cutting tool, cut out the pieces needed for your bunny.

2. Fold & Glue Your Box Together: Take your largest cutout (it’ll be the box), and begin to fold it into a box. Use glue to keep it together. Make sure to leave the top flap unglued. When you’re done, you’ll have something like the final picture below.

3. Assemble Your Bunny Pieces: While your box dries, assemble all the pieces of your bunny’s face and body. You’ll have two paws, two ears (connected), a nose with whiskers, cheeks, and eyes. You’ll have to layer these to get the desired effect as shown in the picture below.

4. Glue all the body parts to the bunny: Here’s the fun part! Make sure to tuck the flap in before getting started, then you can start by gluing on the details of the face. Everything goes on the front of the box except the ears. The front of the box is the same side as the slit designed to tuck in the flap. Ideally, the nose goes right above the slit in the box.

5. Enjoy your paper bunny box! You’ve made it! Now you should have a fabulous bunny box to use for class gifts, neighbor gifts, or as a cute decoration! I can’t wait to see what you do with yours…

I hope you enjoy this Silhouette or Cricut Easter paper craft this holiday season. I love fun seasonal paper crafts to help me get in the mood for each new season and holiday. This bunny box is sure to be a ‘treat’ for anyone who makes it. I can’t wait to see how your bunny boxes turn out. The key to getting the best box is using high-quality paper. That’s why I always use 12x12 Cardstock for all my paper needs. It really can’t be beat!
