Design Team Member Kate here with another easy fun fold card perfect for spring and summer crafting. This one is unique as it has a pocket with a pop out embellishment that can be used for any theme! One of the many reasons I like this design is you can also tuck a gift card inside and use as a gift card holder. Ready to get started on this fun fold pocket card?

Fun Fold Pocket Card Template
Let's get started on this fun fold pocket card. To begin cut your cardstock accordingly...

Measurements:
Card Base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches scored at 4 1/4 (I used a white card base, but if you use a colored card base, you will not need the covers below.
Covers for base (blue in my project) 3 x 5 1/2 (front) and 2 x 5 1/2 inches (back)
Insert card 4 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches
Circle for embellishment (yellow in my project) 2 inches (or appropriately sized for your main embellishment).
How To Assemble A Fun Fold Pocket Card
Take your card base, with the fold at the BOTTOM, and trim off 1 1/4 inches from the top panel (as shown in the photo above).
Adhere the cover panel to the bottom of the base.
Use the same circle die you used for the circle base for the embellishment (the yellow circle) to cut a half circle from the card base. (You can discard this semi circle)

Use adhesive on ONLY the sides of the front flap to create the pocket.

Place your insert card into the pocket and attach the circle embellishment to ONLY the top of the inset card. The circle should fit into the circle opening. When you remove the insert card, the circle embellishment should be attached to the insert card.

All you need to do now is to add an embellishment to the circle of your insert card. You can use a diecut, stamped image, or sticker.

Then add a sentiment to the top of the insert as well and you're done!
I hope you liked this handmade card idea and use it for lots of occasions. This is a great card to mass produce for the holidays and stick your family photo in the pocket as well!
