It's a new year and I'd like to try to have all the birthday cards I need for the year, ready to go (instead of remembering a few days before the actual birthday and scrambling to make that one card!) Why not go through a process in just a few hours that will make a lot of cards all at once? Here's how I made these glitter inlay die cut cards.
Supplies:
- Pow! Glitter Paper in Grape, Jade, Cricket and Marine
- Bazzill Smoothies in Blackberry Swirl and Coconut Swirl
- Adhesive
Take a large cover plate die cut and cut into different panels of glitter cardstock and white and black cardstock. I love the POW glitter cardstock! The glitter is so fine and smooth.
Alternatively, you can use the pieces of glitter paper you've cut, and inlay with the white and black pieces, so you use up all of your scraps!

HI. I love this card. I am guessing it could be cut out with the Cricut cutting machine also? Thank you so much for your tutorials. I enjoy receiving them regularly. You always have a super cute project.
Kym…that die is made that way…it’s an oldie from PaperTreyInk…
Wow, great way to make a batch of cards at one time! I’m wondering about the happy die cut. How did you extend the line on either side of the word?
The die is from The Stamp Market called “Birthday Cover Die”
Love it! Also looking to where I can purchase that particular die set.
