You can search on Pinterest and find hundreds of card sketches, layouts and card making templates. It can actually become overwhelming. Design Team Member Kate is here to simplify the process for you! Here's a quick and easy "One Sheet Wonder" card making template that creates at least 11 cards.

Supplies:
-
Daisy Quilt Double Sided Patterned Cardstock by Pebbles
-
Bazzill Card Shoppe In Marshmallow (card bases and white flowers), Rose Quartz (butterfly) and Lollipop
-
Fabulous Floral die from Brutus Monroe
-
Butterfly die from MyMomenta
-
Sentiment stamps from Stampin' Up! and Hero Arts

Use the above template to chop the 12" x 12" patterned paper into 11 pieces. Choose a stamp/diecut that coordinates with your paper. You can make a set of birthday cards with a cake or balloons, an Autumn set with a leaf, a Christmas set with an ornament....really anything!

The three card panels along the top of the template are 4" x 5 1/2" (I actually trimmed to 4" x 5 1/4") can be used as full card fronts or cut on the diagonal to produce two cards.

The seven pieces that are the same size (4" x 2 1/2") can be used to make the same layouts. The simple daisy makes for the focal point and the sentiments can be interchanged. The last piece (4" x 2") was placed at the top of a card with one of the 4" x 2 1/2" pieces below, with the sentiment in the middle.

NOW for the fun part! If you use a double sided pattern, you can mix and match the patterns, alternating the sides you use. You can choose to make this layout as simple or as ornate as you'd like. Add some glitter or foil cardstock diecuts, cut the base pieces into smaller sizes or on the diagonal, even add some embossing for texture!

Try this card making template next time you need to make a stack of cards! The one sheet wonder technique is a great way to showcase that beautiful patterned paper you have been saving.

Beautiful cards!
I live in a 55+ Community and at age 70 I am one of the younger residents. I help these ladies to create greeting cards, so these templates are wonderful for them to utilize. Thank you for these.
Oh my gosh. My brain is exploding with all these gorgeous cards. I can’t wait to make these and send them out to those I love. Thank you so much.
I love your card designs. Your blog is nice and organized as well
