Valentine's Card using red vellum paper

Valentine's Day Card

Hello!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility  I wanted to stop in and share a Valentine's card that I made using some of the other products other than just our cardstock.

valentine card made with cardstock

To start my card I took my watercolor paper to make a card base with my Distress Oxide Inks.  I used the Festive Berries and the Spun Sugar.

Did you know at 12x12 Cardstock Shop we carry not just American Crafts, Bazzill, Doodlebug Design, Carta Bella and Echo Park but we carry a large range of Vellum, Glitter, and Foil/Metallic paper also?

On my Valentine's card, I used the Red Vellum and the Pearl Vellum by cutting it in my Cameo 3 with a cut file I had.  Yes, Vellum will easily cut in any cutting machine.  In my Cameo, I just have to lower my pressure, slow the speed down and it cuts BEAUTIFULLY!  The hardest part is taking it off the cutting mat without ripping it!  HAHA!

Next, I took some American Crafts Crimson Red and American Crafts White and used it with a Love die from Pink and Main.  I pop-dotted the love on top of my vellum heart doily.

Last but not least, I used a Valentine sentiment from Hero Art's Valentine Flourishes Stamp Set and stamped it with Memento black ink.

Christi
