- Hot Glue Gun (Low temp)

- 3- 5 sheets of each color Bazzill Mono or Bling Cardstock (I used Bazzill Mono in Juneberry and White, Bazzill Bling in Bling and Spoiled Brat)
- Gold Mirri Foil Cardstock
- Scissors
- Styrofoam balls
- Spray Adhesive
- 6” Cake cardboard rounds
Pick about 3 or 4 colors that you would like to use for your Autumn leaf flower. Bazzill Mono and Bling are great for creating dimensional decor as well as Sirio Pearl Metallic Cardstock (NEW PRODUCT).
Step 2: Create the leaves.
Cut out various shapes and sizes of autumn leaves. I recommend having a pile of large leaves, medium sized leaves, and small leaves. You can find cut files for leaves in Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, or there are lots of free printable PDFs online.
Step 3: Cut slits for dimension.

Cut slits into the bottom of each leaf. For this project, we do not want the leaves to have a lot of elevation. The longer the cut the less height your petals will have. Cut each slit until you get to about the middle of each leaf.
Step 4: Creating elevation for the center.

Place a dot of hot glue onto the left or right tab of the leaf. Overlap the other tab slightly on to the hot glue to elevate the shape of the leaf. The more the tabs cross the higher the leaf will stand. Repeat for all leaves.
Step 5: Glue leaves to base.

Step 6: Add the decorative center to your autumn leaf flower
Cut out a 5.5 inch circle with the Gold Mirror Foil Cardstock and a 5 inch circle in Bazzill Mono Bazzill White. Glue the white circle to the center of the gold circle with hot glue. If you have a cutting machine such as a cricut, cut out your words to be 5 inches or less. Then, use a spray adhesive to attach the word to the center.
Don’t have a cutting machine? No problem! Scope out the scrapbooking section at your local craft store. You can use stickers, stamps or emboss your own words for the center.

TADA!! This autumn leaf Thanksgiving centerpiece craft looks so beautiful displayed on your table and you can add other paper flowers to fill a long table. (See my large paper flower tutorial here.) You can also hang these on your walls, damage free with Command Picture Hanging Strips.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
