Vellum For Cardmaking Idea #1:

Vellum is amazing to emboss.  It gives very defined details while still being subtle.

BONUS IDEA: You can even color on the back of the vellum with alcohol markers (CLICK HERE to see how to add color to vellum)

In this card, Kate used vellum to make an embossed vellum window card. Kate diecut a hexagon shape from the yellow cardstock and then used that as a template to diecut an opening from the top folding A2 card front (so she could align the placement).

Then she ran her vellum sheet through an embossing machine featuring a beehive hexagon texture.

She then sandwiched the embossed vellum between the yellow cardstock and the card base.

Vellum For Cardmaking Idea #2:

Vellum is a great detail for wings (and even leaves and flowers).  This cute little bee has vellum wings!

Vellum For Cardmaking Idea #3:

Vellum makes a great backdrop for your sentiments, especially if your sentiment diecut comes with a layering die.

Bonus Tip: You can add another layer of cardstock to the BACK of the vellum sentiment to add some dimension to the diecut sentiment so it sticks out more.
