I love to share paper crafted gifts! It brings me so much joy to share the hobby I love with other people and I find I end up thinking about the person I'm making it for during the entire process.
My latest creation is a backpack gift box for my grandson's teacher gift. I like to find cute and unusual gift boxes to make for their gifts because to me, the box is just as much of a gift to them as the present.
Supplies:
- American Crafts Cardstock in Peacock
- American Crafts Cardstock in Evergreen
- American Crafts Cardstock in Carrot
- American Crafts Cardstock in Crimson
- Echo Park Back To School Collection Kit
The backpack is a file from SVGCUTS.com 2013. The Collection is "Back to the Books" which can be found here. I won't go into assembly of this backpack because there is a great tutorial video on that same page.

You'll notice the ABC letters are popped up a bit off the backpack. To get this look, I cut 6 'A's", 6 "B's" and 6 "C's" and stacked them on top of each other for dimension. This is a good strategy to use when you are out of dimensional foam stickers, but still want that raised look.
I'm excited to pass this gift along to my grandson's teacher.
