4th of July Craft Paper Hat Instructions

First gather your materials. Before starting, make sure you have all your paper pieces ready, along with glue and any embellishments you’d like to add at the end.

Now let's form the hat base. Take the large white hat piece and gently roll it to create a tube shape. Apply glue along the edge to secure the tube. 

Next attach the hat brim. Fold the small tabs along the edge of the hat brim. Then, glue these tabs to the inside of the white tube, securing the brim to the base of the hat.

Now let's add the top of the hat. Fold the tabs along the circular top piece. Carefully glue these tabs inside the top opening of the white tube, closing off the top of the hat.

Next decorate with the blue band. Wrap the blue band with the stars, around the bottom of the hat, right above the brim, and glue it in place.

Add the red stripes. Finally, take the red paper strips and glue them vertically along the white tube. Space them evenly all the way around to complete the classic patriotic look.
