As a card maker, I have endless paper scraps and it's become a challenge for me to figure out how to use cardstock scraps up. I've shared a few ideas in the past, but today I have six new handmade card ideas that use scraps to share with you.
Though I have tons of regular scraps, I decided to do something different today.

This might be controversial but I hope you can see the method to my madness. I suffer from Full Set Syndrome—when I get one of something, I want to have them all. But after 20+ years of cardmaking, I’ve learned that I don’t need it all. And that means that I have several swatch books of papers I probably won't be buying. So I decided to put a few of my swatch books to good use. For these cards, I used my Bazzill Fours swatch book, but whatever you want to get rid of is perfect for this idea.
12x12 Cardstock Shop also sells Mystery Scrap Packs which would be perfect for this project too.

Thanks for the tip on using up scraps!
Do i have to use dies to cut the designs out. I don’t have any and never used them.
In my head I knew this but I have never done this, although I did tear apart my swatch books about 2 years ago and sorted them by color into containers. I could use some more examples when you have time. My brain seems frozen right now.
Thank you so much for these ideas! Its so awesome to have you give suggestions for using up scraps! Appreciate you!
I like it 👌
