Our Design Team (the crafty Christmas elves) has been busy making up a batch of Christmas cards and we've been sharing them all week over on Instagram. There's so much creativity included in each of these handmade Christmas card ideas, that I thought it would be helpful to round them all up here for you. Sit down with some Christmas movies and spend the evening copying one or all of these cards.
Here's 10 handmade Christmas card ideas you can copy.

1. Layered Snowflake Die Handmade Christmas Card
This card uses snowflake dies of varying sizes layered together. Notice how the snowflake cut out from the card base is just rotated a bit and placed back on the card. Genius idea!

5. Embossed Foil Handmade Card
Did you know you can use your die cuts to actually emboss a design? It's true, and foil paper is the perfect medium to try this technique out on. To get this look, you use a silicone rubber mat in your die cutting machine. You can get the full tutorial here.

6. Handmade Christmas Card Using Only Cardstock
At first glance you see an elegant and charming handmade Christmas card, but if you take another look you'll notice just how simple this card really is. It's two sentiments cut from cardstock and layered, plus cut greenery with a few tiny pearls for accents. You only need cardstock for this project, and we love that it's flat for mailing!

7. Handmade Card with Sentiment Cut From Foil Paper
Foil paper is always a great addition to a design, but in this card, it IS the design. This is another stunning but simple card that is easy to replicate. Here, a poretty sentiment is cut from foil cardtsock, and layered on white cardstock so the design pops.

8. Handmade Christmas Card with Cut Out Window

9. Die Cut Ornament Card with Pearlescent Paper
Sometimes choosing the right cardstock for a project can make all the difference. This pearlescent Christmas Card uses Sirio Pearl for the large ornament die cut, with a contrasting color of Sirio pearl peaking through the cut outs of the ornament. The card base has an embossed script which gives it an elegant touch.

10. Layered Cardstock Handmade Christmas Card
This card gets its style from layered cardstock. Die cuts are cut three times from different papers, then layered up slightly offset to give it lots of pretty dimension and added interest. The flower pops off the card when the petals are stacked this way.

Linda-
The Merry Christmas is not a die. It’s Cricut fonts within Design Space.
Can you tell me who makes the “merry” and “Christmas” dies on the Handmade Christmas Card Using Only Cardstock? thanks!
Fantastic examples!
All his creativity is so inspiring! Please tell them we appreciate their work. It’s hard to think about Christmas when it’s 100° out! But happy & merry Christmas in July.
